ICOS Ecosystem Thematic Center
The Ecosystem Thematic Center (ETC) coordinates the ICOS ecosystem network by providing instrument and method support, testing and developing new measurement techniques and associated processing algorithms. It also provides a high standard of data standardization, uncertainty analysis and database services in coordination with the ICOS Carbon Portal. The ETC also coordinates the drafting of protocols detailing how the measurements will be collected at all stations in the ecosystem to ensure inter comparability. This is done in close collaboration with experts in the field and with other existing ecological and meteorological networks (NEON, Ameriflux, ICP Forests, MWO, TERN, ...).
